Party. We set out for Schloss Sihlberg to celebrate the Diesel flagship store opening at Zurich's famous Bahnhofstrasse the other day. Must say, the location looked incredible, like a fairy tale castle in a land far far away -- let's call it Switzerland - unfortunately it was slightly too crowded but after blazing the trail, clearing the way the oh so retro chic couch (note to ourselves: making oneself at home-expertises are more than welcome at this point) we could finally enjoy some nice snacks and gin tonics.
Regarding my outfit, I went for an easy, laid back but still chic look and, I wondered, is there anything better than an Isabel Marant dress? I'm not much of a print fan kinda gal but I thought these two would just match and create an interesting look. The coat, too, is amazing as you can mix silver and gold details thanks to it's lurex-ish texture, which, in fact, was perfect to merge the silver-ish dress and the gold studded shoes. Love the way those Susannas add a little rock 'n' roll to every outfit...
Outfit: dress Isabel Marant, shoes ChloƩ "Susanna", coat Atos Lombardini, bag Coccinelle
And here's another funny note to ourselves... regarding free drinks and classiness: have a few, but never one too much, especially not on business events: always nip (sip, if you will) and get rid of half-full glasses by maintaining a low profile. Go on to the next same drink as you wouldn't want to kick your heels and look bored. Same same but different, you know? So that's exactly the way you can master a night without getting all drunk and embarrassing. Finally, you have had a drink or two, at most, by midnight which is still easy to handle, right? Also, you won't wake up with a bad headache the morning after as you adhered to the same same but different drink. And, there will also always be sparkling water too.
Happy Saturday (nights),
xx, A.
