MBNYFW Feb '13: Day 6

Diesel Black Gold. Here's a glimpse on what's going on backstage. Must say, it's quite an experience to watch the team working behind the scenes, the models getting ready and all -- they pull together and just want to make it happen, months of hard work and it's all about those 10 to 15 minutes, you know. It's very inspiring and it's very different from what we see during the show: for sure, a collection, an ensemble of - well, let's say - 30 looks at the end of the day, but for a moment or two every single look kinda tunes out, stands out, makes heads turn round.  I know you know where this is going to, so let's talk about the looks themselves and actually, I only have these words of my own: very edgy, very tough, very raw and at the same time, very sexy! Just what Diesel Black Gold is famous for. Also, I think, Diesel Black Gold is the only label that fascinates with leather and studs combos, season by season -- it's as with Cavalli and animal prints, I guess -- and that's a good thing!
