nude & white

Outfit: shoes Zara (similar to this), belt Vintage, shorts and sunnies H&M, blouse Bel Air

and black. Going through some photographs while eating a peach yogurt, daily routine mind you, made me realize I have never ever posted the pic above. It's a snap we took back in May during the hot exams season. Quite a basic look but I really do like the color combo shown here, nude and white innocence paired to some black toughness meaning the boots - What do you think?

Happy Mondays!

SUNDAY CRAVINGS

loves. After a horror of moving out and in and out and in the other day, I finally found some time to relax and distract myself from all the madness - and is there anything better than going through several online shops and thinking of the season to come? Here are some desirable items I really, really, you know, desire: (1st row, left to right) earrings Asos, cross bangle Asos, claw ring Asos, (2nd row, left to right) three rings Asos,  coin purse Asos (3rd row, left to right) varnish butter London, Dicker boots Isabel Marant, earrings Danielle Scutt

Happy Sundays everyone!

FORWARD

Fall. I know the weather's sort of trying to make up for the past few weeks of cold-heat-cold-heat-cold-waves but I stopped caring about summer anyway and am absolutely looking forward to fall, layering and all which is in fact a real fashionable challenge. So what we have here are two of three of my absolute favorite season colors: emerald green and burgundy. Also love them in the mix. What do you think?
Outfit: iPad case Nic&Mel, shoes Vic Matje, rest Zara

PS: just in case you wonder, the pics were shot the other day when it still was, you know, cold
Have a great day!

JULY SNAPS

Hello, hello. Some random pics of what I'm up to like after work, in between outfit-shots and on weekends. Speaking of which, have wonderful 2 days off, hope the sun keeps doing the job.

ARE YOU UP?

Good, me too. So let's tick off what I'm wearing A LOT lately: electric blue Isabel Marant high top sneakers also known as "The Beketts" - check √, denim shirts - check √... serious talking mode on, let the games explanation begin:
1) The denim shirt: thanks to super duper weather - kidding - it's more than clear that layers and with layers, my dear friends, I mean at least four items of clothes which you can or actually can't see, are having their moment just like in spring, fall and yeah right, winter too. And that's when the denim shirt in question comes in - once and for all: we need you! YOU! an OH SO simple - NOT A BIT! - slightly oversized denim shirt - okay, maybe at first sight, but - which looks good buttoned up over a pair of skinny jeans or - just like here - thrown over a plain outfit. No doubt it def looks good paired to equals (which I already manifested here) and electric blue (which I also already manifested there).
Outfit: sneaker Isabel Marant (maybe you like them too), tee and denim shirt H&M (similar to this), pants C.C., bag Vintage, belt MOSCHINO (here)

Which truly leads me back to the shoes, no correction, not any shoes, but 2) THE sneakers per se: Admitted, they kinda look like orthopedic shoes but definitely an absolutely stunning sort of, you know, shoe  sneaker that makes other people's eyeballs pop out - I know what you're thinking if you aren't a fan 'cause that's just how it goes, whether you love 'em or hate 'em, you better choose your team quickly 'cause, again, here's a fun fact: the more you look at them, the more you like love them! I'm just saying, you choose!

Happy Thursdays!

GREIGE'S THE NEW BEIGE

or black. I don't know why I look so tanned in some pictures because I'm actually not, just not. Maybe it's the light? Anyways, that's what I wore to the SCHUMACHER SHOP OPENING in MUC the other week. It's a total-head-to-toe look by Adele Fado paired to a belt by Atos Lombardini - two brands I got to know very well and which I absolutely do love.
I can tell, the typical Schumacher colors and my outfit were the perfect match, didn't plan it, though. Speaking of colors, greige's very hot at the moment, I guess. It's that certain shade between grey and brown, something like beige but with a touch of grey, similar to the Chanel 505 and even closer to the up-and-coming Chanel 559 called "frenzy" which will be in stores by mid-August.
Regarding the layers, I immediately fell in love with the cut off blazer sort of vest which truly is versatile like there were thousands of outfit ideas flashing my brain which is always a PRO if you're writing a, you know, fictitious pro&contra list about an expensive item and if so: dingdingdingdingding: INVESTMENT PIECE it's, you know, ding-a-ling-a-ling-ing.
The 100% silk jumpsuit and the shoes were a too perfect match to not take 'em home with me the semi-blazer-thing - so blame it on Adele! What do you think?
Outfit: shoes, sleeveless blazer (similar to this and this) jumpsuit (similar to this) Adele Fado, belt Atos Lombardini

denim + leo

symbiosis. Quite don't know why but I've certainly got a deep affection for that leo-plus-denim-combo lately. On the one hand there's that casual denim shirt that's neither too tight nor too loose and on the other hand we have some rad rad rad animal printed pants which don't look too sexy or like you've tried to hard (which actually's a really rare case). So as a matter of fact they create a perfect symbiosis that dresses one up and the other down. Also, love the pants' loose chino-ish cut which creates plus the print, however again, that certain up-down-symbiosis-combo by its own... if you know what I mean. Do you?
Outfit: sunnies E&E, iPad case Nic&Mel, belt Atos Lombardini, pants, shoes, denim shirt ZARA

Have a great day!

FILL IN THE GAP

casual plus bling bling. Guess what? Here's an easy way to pimp up an, you know, easy look: take a random tee plus denim pants, some killer sneakers and a phenomenal neckpiece that makes heads roll, that dresses any outfit up and fills in the gap. Still amazed by the fact that it won't look that good paired to a typical evening robe but fantastic over an oversized grungy tee or sweater - what do you think?

Outfit: pants The Kooples, tee GAP, necklace ZARA, sunnies E&E

PARCELS FULL OF HAPPINESS

YIPPIE YAY. Blogger's Wardrobe truly dispatches parcels full of happiness. Just as a frozen yogurt with smarties and berries on top or a chocolate cake or  browsing through the latest US Vogue issue or sales at Barney's, you name it! Just received these two wonderful items the other day and couldn't be happier.
I've actually been searching for the right iPad case for well quite a time now and what I love about this one by Nic & Mel so so so much, beside that leather fact, is that it's big enough to put the iPad plus smart case in it.
Also, the sunnies. Oh these sunnies. You know I have a crush for 'em and I certainly have a crush on the "JukkasjÀrvi" (not quite sure how to pronounce it but maybe you do?!) by E&E. And even though I have a bunch of round shaped sunnies, the pear white's just special enough to make it a summer must-have. If only the summer was breaking out, finally, you know.

HAPPY TO BE IN MUNICH

SCHUMACHER SHOP OPENING. And here some more impressions meaning an estimated 1/6 of all snaps I took the other night at Schumacher's shop opening in Munich. Already told you how wonderful it's been: we played bocce with Schumacher balls, of course, a girl went through the chattering crowd offering frozen yogurt and we, my lovely roomie and blogger friend Flora and I, did what bloggers do best meaning capturing the moments. We really enjoyed the evening spent trying some nibbles, laughing and lusting for Schumacher's new collection. Oh, and we even had the chance to take a picture with Dorothee Schumacher herself and the owner of the new shop in Munich (Odeonsplatz 11). Definitely worth a visit! Enjoy the picture overload!
