Wrapped. The 2nd look I styled for IOWA x Mühlbauer is completely different to the first one - not so chic but more casual yet sophisticated. In love with the outfit's boho touch and you know the parka plus all those layers would def keep you warm so that's a great option to look cool in the cold if you don't like down jackets.
Read more about both looks in the translated interview below...
Outfit: parka Lempelius, pullover American Vintage, leggings MM6 by Maison Martin Margiela, hat Mühlbauer Hutmanufaktur seit 1903
When and why did you start blogging?
I started blogging in 2008 with another blog and a friend. In 2009 I wanted to create my very own to share my passion for fashion. I don't tell people what to wear but show them how I wear it.
Why did you name your blog "it's on with allegra"?
I must have thought something like "hi guys, here I am, it's on with..." - well me, so that's why it's called "it's on with allegra".About what do you blog?
The focus is placed on fashion or rather my personal style. I also blog about beauty products I use, magazines, food, trips, though - just about everything that "happens" to me.
Why did you choose these items for your looks? Which one did you like best?
The neon pink coat caught my eye immediately, it was truly love at first sight. Its cut reminds me of the 60s, I felt a little bit like Twiggy and the feather alice band was just the icing on the cake.
For the 2nd look I wanted to create something completely different. I rarely wear hats since I can hardly find one that fits perfectly. The first second I tried that one on I fell in love - it's the perfect accessory for a boho-chic. Besides, I really liked the beige and blue color combo too.
What are your winter must-haves?
Dresses, skirts, shirts with leather details, flower prints and knitwear sweaters as seen all over the runways (e.g. Stella McCartney and Isabel Marant).
What are your fashion dislikes? And what's your all time favorite?
I find flesh colored tights simply horrible. Shoes, bags, jewelry, clothes - I collect them all.
