It's so damn cold in Vienna - you can't believe it!! The wind is so breezy freezy, that I'm layering all I've got (like a tank, t-shirt, long sleeve shirt, pulloverS, cardiganS,... I look like a bulky something but hey, who cares? hehe).

I discovered the new Buffalo shop in Vienna. Funnily, it's like 10 min away from my flat *dangerous* ... well, I just couldn't hold off buying these wedges. They are killer, that's all!

Monthly Style Question

When it comes to skirts and dresses I'd always go for mini. But this season you see the retro lengths midi and maxi all over the runways - you've doubtlessly noticed that, I suppose.

Although this upcoming trend got hyped by several designers and "tested" by many celebs and bloggers - who look absolutely fantastic wearing these flowing fabrics - I'm not so sure about it coming into vogue and rather say yay for maxi dresses in a summer hippie style, you know?!

Actually, I find this trend really difficult. There are so many "outfit-combo-questions" coming up like which shoes and jackets do match... and don't you think you need a certain hight for this look? Okay, if you're small you could wear high heels but to be honest, in this way the look wouldn't be suitable for daily use anymore... and you also need the right fabric because midi and maxi skirts/dresses can easily look like granny's curtains!! So whatcha say?

As for me, I didn't give it a try so far but looking at the pics below - maybe I have to rethink...

This pic was taken by my flat mate who was kinda amused about me looking like a sleepy head at 5 pm (I just got up and was on my way to the university). My time table's really funny - in terms of absolutely easy going (e.g. Thursday and Wednesday lecture starts at 5 pm). So on lazy lazy days I get used to sleep late, brunch and go to bed again haha. You should def give it a try - so comfy!!

As I told you I went shopping today... aand above you can see my perfect for winter buys: 1) the super cozy anaconda scarf which is like 2,5 m long - insane! 2) the faux fur vest - I'm not sure if I'll wear it that often but it just felt like I HAVE to have it.. haha

4. I don't mince matters! That's why I find it kinda ridiculous if people can't accept criticism so that they feel constrained to assume a pseudonym on Facebook to get their message across because they don't have the guts to say anything in ya face - how pathetic.

5. I'm a sucker for ice cream (Ben&Jerry's, Hägen Dazs *yum yum*) - all chocolaty flavors but not vanilla ... except for vanilla ice cream with a spoon full of Nutella.

6. I'm fascinated by Lady Gaga! That's why I'll JUST DANCE on the 11th of Nov 2010 at her Monster Ball Concert in Vienna.

7. Do you know "Runaway Bride" (1999) starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere? However, Maggie (Julia Roberts) has to find out how she likes her breakfast eggs because she always changes her habits with her men... when I was about 7 years old, I was fascinated by that film so I made up my mind early: I like 6-minute-boiled ones for breakfast, hard-boiled in salad niciose, sliced omelet in fried rice, scrambled with toast, raw before exercising, ... LOL just kidding!

Dishwasher

It has been a long time since my last outfit post but voilà there you go! Actually, I'm sitting and standing on our dishwasher which made some funny noises during the "photo shoot" *who cares* ... and omg, it's so cold here in Vienna, you can't believe it!! But never fear, it's still getting colder :( .. so tomorrow I'll hit the road for some cozy clothes shopping - one good thing at least *yaay*
