Fashion Week S/S 2011 Highlights Part I

London. Paris. New York. Milan. It's fashion week time, lovelies! The upcoming Spring/Summer trends couldn't be more diverse: flashy colors - (blue!!), wild mixed patterns (DVF) and materials (Alice + Olivia), minimalist dresses (3.1. Phillip Lim), ruffels and layers and even the so called "Ronia, the Robber's Daughter" look (Anna Sui) - I absolutely fall for that one - which popped up this Fall/Winter season becomes summer suitable. It seems that there're no limits!!

Monthly Inspiration

"Be Yourself. Be Confident. Smile with your Heart. Seduce with your Eyes. Love is Life" - I stuck this advice of DVF on my room door so I can never forget them when I leave to make my way. Since I'm on my own those words became a motto and influence my attitude in daily life.

The other pic was taken backstage at the MANCANDY show... I can't even tell you why I find it so special and inspiring. As for me it def has the certain inexplicable je ne sais quoi!! I just love the model's facial expression and the mask.. oh and don't forget the male model in the background - his facial expression, crazy funny!!

Vienna's really great! I think I settle down very quickly and easily... but in the coming few days/weeks more friends of mine will come to study here as well, which is great! I'm absolutely looking forward to that.

I'm such a lucky paparazzi! My camera and I were right there to take hundreds of photos of my friends falling off their chairs, haha... so do you like the last pic as much as I do? Well then here's something really funny:

OH MY GOD IT'S VIENNA-ESQUE

Outfit: leggings Mango, tee H&M, shoes & blazer ZARA, bag Vintage

I just moved into my new apartment and placed in clothes, shoes and other bibs and bobs, but there's still so much to do - you can't believe it! And oh my gosh, my walls are like 4,80 m high!! Incredible. (I'll post some room pics when everything has its place!!)

There are also some super cool retro elements in my room like a itsy-bitsy make-up table, a candelabra and the light switch.. have you ever seen something like this before? Well, somehow, it reminds me of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" haha..

Paradoxal

Rumor has it that Chanel's latest varnish color "Paradoxal" is sold out again. Actually, I got hold of it yesterday in a small but well known perfumery - lucky me - which seems to be neglected or something like that if we buy into those rumors.

I'm wondering if that "absolutely sold out"-thing is just an advertising strategy or honest success... ?!

However, the color is literally paradoxal indeed and I'm still not sure if I really like it *lol* just as the "Particulière" varnish of Spring/Summer... actually I think "Paradoxal" looks like "Particulière" laced with purple.. (the varnish seems to be much more purple in the flask than on the nails, but see for yourself, it really depends on your teint!!)

Georgia On Our Mind

Yesterday, I visited one of my best friends Becci in Innsbruck, which is like 200 km away from my home town. After she picked me up from the rail station, we strolled up and down the city streets and chilled in a cafe.

The pics above were taken by my brother in a pedestrian passage. We had so much fun fooling around while other pedestrians looked at us like freaks!! Amazing!! You can't believe it! ;)
