HANK THE TANK

budget vs. high end on sale. I said, O.N. S.A.L.E. We all know, as summer's around the corner (or maybe not?) the sales pop up, for sure, faster than their shadow one can ask "how much?" - well-knowing about the upcoming season sales, already fantasizing about wearing the soon-to-be bargain. Shop assistants could read it from your sweaty hands and sparkling eyes. Anyways, not to burst the bubble but to focus on what's it all about: sales time's also the time of failing, shopping-wise, unfortunately, because we tend to be dazzled by the passion  prices - but I tell ya, there's no crying in fashion sales week(s). So we gotta be prepared, hold on to what's essential - starting with these basic black tank tops. Now, you may wonder, why 'em basics? Well, there's not only a price tag difference between budget and high end but, perhaps unsurprisingly, also when it comes to quality (see: 100% polyester, 100% chiffon) - opinions may differ on this question, but I personally do not look out for (kinda) politically incorrect prices, but for a surplus of high quality, 30-70% less than the original price.

What about you? Tell me, tell me!

Have a super nice day!
xx, A.

LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS

Audrey Jr. Dedicated to my dad's favorite horror story, we just had to pull over, jump out of the car and to take some pics with that enormous not-man-eating-at-least-I-suppose-so plant. What we discovered furthermore was an amazing jungle-ish garden (yes, that's totally meant in a good way) with palm trees, hortensias plus a bunch of other funny plants -- and a cute little shop of horrors outdoor design desires... and all... you know. Anyways, my outfit's very basic, my hair's undone-ly done thanks to the special tool I told you about earlier this week (yes, yesterday), which is just my taste. What's yours?

BIG TOOL 4 U

image: curling iron Babyliss XL ΓΈ38mm

Hairstyle. Do you remember that SATC episode where it's all about cyber - well, let's say - dating offline and all, you know? Anyways, this post is absolutely not about sex or cyber-well-dating or anything connected to it - at least you have any awkward imaginations but that's still another story, I guess - because now, it's actually all about the babyliss XL curling iron (whose name, in fact, should definitely finally turn the  last doubters down). Ever so often inspired by Alex's "model off duty" look created by Fekkai's head stylist Eric Sebbag (gotta watch the video!) I started to hit the shops hunting for a XL curling iron which as a matter of fact seemed to be much easier to achieve that every day out of bed look than to apply a handful of - certainly amazing - products. Maybe that's just me and I'm no expert but I can tell for sure from personal experience, mind you, the result's exactly what I had in mind, which is the perfect imperfection - if that makes any sense at all, you know... - what more can I say? I did not have a large choice of devices but for about 30€ and an easy handling, I think, it's more than worth it.

PS: stay tuned, follow the blog here or here to get the first glimpse on the results...

Happy Mondays everyone!

SUMMER LOVING

Agatha. Now this is neither an attempt to bore you or even making you lose any trust in my fashionable dressing skills but admitted, I just hardly get out of these blouses lately. I'm so in love, can't stop swooning. But then again, sorry but not sorry: why shouldn't we wear our favorite clothes every day, all day?! - I mean, as long as you don't start to smell like a marathoner after running, you know, some kilometers plus it even makes you creative, innovative, whatever... what, on the other hand, however, do you think?

SUN DRIED

Outfit: pants + sweater Sandro, bag Chanel

washed out. I let 'em dry in open air, let 'em get sun kissed and all, you know, to achieve that certain washed out grey-ish shade. I know you can buy a bunch of perfectly grey toned denim like this one or that one nowadays but then again, call me old fashioned, I just like the fact of wearing them out all by myself - except for some sunny tricks and kicks, mind you, at least.

Have a nice weekend!

AT 4 PM

Bellevue. Now that's how I roll after a day filled with more or less important lectures at uni. A little bit exhausted (see: above), a little bit rumpled (see: the blouse) and a little bit confused (see: below, like after the click), but thank god I have a backpack that keeps all the sh*t together, if this makes any sense? Kidding.
Anyways, I wish these where Dickers but they're only some hardly worn knock offs I bought at Zara some years ago for less than half the price (think of something like 15€, like 7,50€ per shoe, totally insane!). They aren't too similar, though, so I guess, they get away as designer inspired cowtomboy-ish boots - just to revisit the topic. Or am I only dreaming skewing the truth? Tell me, tell me, please!
